Overview:

1. Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating is referred to as JS Composite Waterproof Coating.

2. It can be directly applied on wet or dry multi-material base surface, and can form large area seamless waterproof membrane.

3. The coating is tough and high-strength, with excellent water resistance, weather resistance and durability. It can be firmly bonded with various base materials such as cement mortar to form color coating.

4. Integrated of waterproof and bonding materials in one, tile or mosaic and other protective layer can be fixed directly on the waterproof layer.

5. It does not contain any organic solvent, non-toxic, harmless and pollution-free, easy to use and short application period.

6. The elongation of JS-I type is higher than that of JS-II type, and it can be directly applied on wet or dry base surface. It is suitable for roof waterproof and has better maintenance of old roof.

7. JS-II is suitable for long-term water immersion environment such as toilet.

Key Points of Construction:

1. Construction process

Base preparation → material allocation → detailed additional waterproof layer construction → large surface waterproof layer construction → inspection and acceptance → protective layer construction

 

2. Grass roots preparation

The surface of the base course shall be smooth, solid, free of sharp corners, floating dust and water, and the waterproof node shall be treated according to the design requirements. The oil stain shall be removed and the concave and damaged parts shall be leveled.

 

3. Ingredients

According to the proportion of liquid material, powder material and water marked on the product package. The addition amount of water can be adjusted, as to adjust the coating viscosity to meet the construction requirements of different parts of facade and plane.

 

The Composite Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating is as follows: firstly, liquid material and water are poured into the mixing bucket, and then the powder is slowly added into the mixing bucket under the continuous stirring of the electric mixer. The mixture is stirred for at least 5 minutes, until the mixture is completely uniform and slurry like without agglomeration.

 

4. Additional waterproof layer for details

According to the design requirements, the reserved groove should be filled with sealing material, the internal and external corners, pipe root and other details should be applied multiple times (2~4 times).  A layer of matrix reinforcement material should be laid for underground engineering project.

 

5. Construction of large area waterproof layer

The waterproof coating should be applied several times, and it should be finished at least four times. The interval of each coating is generally 8 hours, and it should be extended in winter. The thickness of the first coating should be 0.2~0.3mm, and the thickness of each subsequent coating should be 0.4~0.5mm. The amount of coating should be about 0.8kg/m2. Every coat should not be over thick. For facade construction, no water or less water should be added, so as to avoid the coating flowing, which makes the facade thickness difficult to reach the design thickness, and causes the accumulation of materials at the internal and external corners to be too thick and crack. When the matrix reinforcement material is added, the matrix shall be smooth without wrinkles, and the lap joint shall not be less than 100mm. During construction, the coating shall be applied first, and then the following coating shall be applied on the surface after laying.

 

6. After the waterproof coating layer is completed and accepted, the construction of protective isolation layer shall be carried out according to the design requirements.
